Kentish Town Improvement Fund was established to support and facilitate activities and programmes to promote:
- Community involvement and engagement
- The improvement of health and wellbeing
- Creative projects exploring mental, physical and social health
Free Space Gallery – a gallery space showing work on the theme of mental, physical and social health – an artist in residence programme – weekly creative workshops for staff, patients and the community

Cycle Maintenance – a monthly workshop sharing skills in cycle maintenance and safety
Art Therapy – one to one and group sessions taking place weekly with additional therapeutic art courses in collaboration with local artists
The improvement of health & wellbeing
Dance for people with Parkinson’s – a weekly dance and movement class designed for those with Parkinson’s
Aromatherapy – aromatherapy massage is offered to staff and patients to aid in the management of chronic conditions
Baby Singalong – Taking place weekly this workshop is open to all parents and carers with young children – live music and storytelling are used
Community involvement & engagement
Drawing for people with Aphasia – a group for those with language and communication difficulties arising from stroke or head injury to learn drawing skills to improve concentration
Well-Beeing Garden – weekly gardening and creative activities take place in our garden on site which is planted with specimens related to health and wellbeing
Peer Support Group – a support group for artists working on the theme of mental health to share ideas and exhibition opportunities
Silver Circle – a weekly group counseling service for those facing issues relevant to later life
